Today's images are really not that good, the lighting was harsh, I was shooting hand held at 400mm, and the subject was way across the lake. But I just couldn't pass up the oppertunity to capture the Osprey fishing......

I'm so glad I called back to see how your Sky Watch was getting on... I would have hated to have missed this series of shots... I would have loved to have seen this happening.... Jane is out at work but when she gets in I will show her these... like me all Raptors hold our interest...

Seeing this a capturing it is two totally different things. I have seen the ospreys dive many many times over the years and have yet to have a camera pointed in the right direction. To get anything of it is a feat and to get this series is awesome!
